The Panglao watchtower was built in 1851. The 5-storey hexagonal tower is reputedly the tallest of its kind in the Philippines but suffers from neglect.

The Chocolate Hills are typically a group of extraordinarily shaped hills found in the Central Visayas region, an island of Bohol, in the Philippines. This magnificent landscape is unique only to this small island. It is discovered that the famed hills are not only two or three, but there are more than 1,779 cone and dome-shaped hills, making a strange geological formation that has left many geologists baffling.

The Philippine Tarsier, locally known as “Mamag” in Luzon or “Mawmag” in Visayans/Cebuano, is a typical tourist attraction icon of Bohol. Tarsier is one of the world’s oldest and smallest primate, and it is believed that it belong to the family of primates called Tarsiidae that existed over 45 million years ago.

The Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary Parish Church, more commonly known as Baclayon Church, was founded by Jesuit priests in 1596. Bohol’s oldest church, Baclayon Church was completed in 1727 and was restored in 2017 to fix the major damages that it took from an earthquake in 2013.

One of the must-do activities in Bohol is dolphin watching. Island hopping has always been recommended in Bohol, this activity excites us more. To catch the dolphins swimming on the surface, leaving in your hotel should be before 6 am and endure the cool water about 30 minutes you will reach and enjoy the erea for dolphin watching.

The actual name of this island is Puntod Island, but most commonly known as the Virgin Island. It is a small uninhabited island, about 20-minutes by boat from Panglao. It is usually the second destination after Balicasag during the Dolphin Watching and Island Hopping activity.
